Classic Apple Crumble

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
  2. Peel the apples and cut them into cubes. Add sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla. (If you don’t have vanilla extract, swap 1 tablespoon of sugar for 1 packet of vanilla sugar.) Stir well and transfer the mixture into a baking dish.
  3. Add the flour, sugar, and cold butter into a bowl. Use your hands to work it into a crumble, then layer it over the apples.
  4. Bake the crumble for 35-40 minutes, until the apples are tender and the crumble is golden brown.
  5. Serve the warm crumble with a scoop of BIOG organic vanilla ice cream on the side
